Order repeat medicines in good time and request only the items you need.
Order a repeat prescription
The practice asks patients to order no earlier than one week before the medicine is due and to allow four full working days before checking with their nominated pharmacy.
How repeat prescriptions work
Choose a request method
Use Patient Services, give the repeat slip to the practice, ask your pharmacy whether it offers an ordering service, or use the practice's paper request form.
Send only the items you need
Check the medicine names and quantities before submitting the request.
Allow four full working days
This gives the practice time to process the request and the nominated pharmacy time to prepare it.
Check with your pharmacy
Ask your nominated pharmacy when the medicine will be ready. The practice asks patients not to telephone solely to check whether a prescription is ready.
Other ways to order or ask a question
If you cannot use an online service, use the paper request form or repeat slip. Telephone 01698 284353 only if you need help understanding which approved route to use.
Non-urgent advice: Questions about medicines
Speak to a community pharmacist or contact the practice if you have a question about a medicine, a possible side effect or a medication review.
Patient Services
The current website links to Patient Services for online repeat prescription requests. Existing users can use the provider’s sign-in page. New users should ask the practice about the current registration process.
Paper forms to migrate
The supporting migration folder contains the practice’s blank prescription request form and Patient Services registration form. Upload accessible, approved copies to the new site before launch.
